Successful 2011-12 VICPA scholarship applicant is Catina Eyres who will be attending the 8th Australasian Hepatitis Conference in Auckland New Zealand.

Covidien Scholarship

Applications for the COVIDIEN 2012 Infection Control Scholarship are now open, with total funding of $50,000 to promote excellence in Infection Control being awarded across three categories:

• Major Research Projects: Two grants for research projects requiring funding up to $15,000. (Total award = $30,000)
• Minor Research Projects: Two grants for research projects requiring funding up to $5,000. (Total award = $10,000)

Educational Grants: $10,000 in grants to further educational requests related to Infection Control such as conference oral/poster presentations at either national or international conferences.
